Landlords are increasingly seeking unrealistic rents from the operators of food and beverage businesses, according to the entrepreneur who is bringing the British restaurant chain Leon to Ireland.

Stuart Fitzgerald who, with two business partners,plans to open 20 branches of Leon across the country by 2023, described the market in Dublin in particular as “frothy”.
