Reilly’s €40m plan for Charlemont Street social housing

Sean Reilly, one of Ireland’s most experienced property developers, is planning to invest €40 million in the regeneration of Charlemont Street flats

Reilly is being backed in his plan to build 90 social housing units near Ranelagh in Dublin’s south inner city with the backing of the WLR Cardinal Mezzanine Fund.

This is a joint venture between American billionaire WL Ross and Dublin’s Cardinal Capital Group, which is perhaps the most active investor in supporting new development in the capital.

AIB is also supporting Reilly’s project which is being built using his company Alcove Properties. ...
