Bill for two-year legal battle thought to be approaching €4m
Businessman Denis O’Brien has racked up an estimated €450,000 in extra legal costs in an effort to unmask the mystery person who allegedly commissioned the PR firm Red Flag to compile a dossier about him.
On Friday, the Court of Appeal awarded the costs of the one-day hearing against the telecoms tycoon, having dismissed his attempts to force Red Flag to divulge the identity of its client.
