Company founded by Blaine Doyle, a previous winner of the Ireland's Best Young Entrepreneur competition, has secured €2.5 million in funding

ChektAhora, an Irish diagnostics start-up focused on Latin America, has raised €2.5 million in a funding round, with Peter FitzGerald – founder of Randox, the Northern Ireland-based testing company – among the investors.

Co-founded by Blaine Doyle, a previous winner of the Ireland's Best Young Entrepreneur competition, the company was founded as GlowDX in 2015 when Doyle participated in RebelBio, the now-defunct Cork-based life sciences accelerator programme.
