Quinn jnr awarded €95k in unfair dismissal case

Sean Quinn Junior has been awarded €95,000 by the Employment Appeals Tribunal, which found he was unfairly dismissed by Grant Thornton, the administrators of Quinn Insurance.

The EAT concluded in its ruling that it was satisfied that the administrators of Quinn Insurance, which was formerly owned by the Quinn family, “did not act fair and reasonably” in its dealings with Quinn jnr.
