Court of Appeal judge says‘mammoth’ case will run for over year partly due to its complexity

A Court of Appeal judge has said the “mammoth” and complex €800 million negligence action the administrators of Quinn Insurance (QIL) are taking against the firm’s auditors PwC will likely run for over a year at trial.

QIL is suing PwC for alleged negligence, breach of contract and breach of duty in its auditing of the insurer’s books between 2005 and 2008.
