The children of former billionaire Sean Quinn are seeking to amend their case to expressly include a claim that their father exerted undue influence on them in their banking arrangements.
Undue influence is not alleged against Anglo Irish Bank, though the bank was arguably aware of the pressure allegedly applied by Quinn, the Commercial Court heard last Friday.
Lawyers for the bank described the proposed change as “bewildering”.
