Ireland is “woefully unprepared” for the rising pressure on its mental health services in the aftermath of the pandemic, politicians will hear today.

The Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) will criticise the government for “years of inattention and underfunding” of the country’s mental health services at a meeting of the Oireachtas sub-committee on mental health.
