Telecommunications company UPC, now known as Virgin Media, recorded a pre-tax loss of €25 million last year, a reduction on losses of €33 million in 2013, writes Colette Sexton. Its revenue for 2014 was €351 million, up €4 million on 2013, but the company lost 15,000 customers, bringing its total number to 513,000.
