Point Village mall to become leisure venue

A persistently vacant section of the Point Village shopping centre is due to be turned into a leisure venue.

Since it was developed by Harry Crosbie in the 2000s for an estimated €850 million, the mall based near the 3Arena has remained largely vacant. The firm behind the development entered receivership in 2013.
