Pilots at search and rescue service interviewed by state inspectors

IALPA has raised a number of concerns from working hours to safety matters in detailed correspondence last year

Workplace Relations Commission inspectors have interviewed pilots at search and rescue service operator CHC Ireland in recent weeks, the company confirmed.

A number of pilots were interviewed regarding hours of work at a number of CHC’s bases around the country.

Forsa union official Brendan O’Hanlon said that there had been issues around overtime, leave entitlements and rosters at CHC.
