A personal injuries solicitor who fell down steps while carrying heavy legal files has settled a High Court damages action against her former employers for around €40,000.
Mary Purtill of Ashbrook House, Sallymount Avenue, Ranelagh, sued Dublin law firm O’Brien Lynam Solicitors for negligence and breach of duty arising from the accident at Upper Fitzwilliam Street on December 19, 2013.
The case was struck out before it went to a full hearing.
