Permanent TSB has completed a deal to purchase Ulster Bank’s ‘Business Direct’ loan book after the transfer of 3,200 loan accounts to the bank.

The purchase of Business Direct, the performing SME loan book of Ulster Bank, is part of a wider transaction between the two banks.

The deal includes the transfer of €5.2 billion performing non-tracker residential mortgages last November, and the transfer of a further €900 million of performing non-trackers mortgages, which is ...
