The future of Cork Airport will be jeopardised if the aviation regulator pushes ahead with plans to slash passenger charges, its parent company has claimed.
The Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) proposed cutting passenger charges at Dublin Airport by 22 per cent from €9.30 a head to €7.50 for five years beginning in 2020. A final decision is expected in the coming weeks.
