Online retailer Boohoo sees sales drop 11% over Christmas period

Company blames delivery and distribution problems for decline in revenue

The company said that it expected its full-year revenue to be down 12 per cent for the full financial year. Its full-year comes to an end on February 28.

Boohoo, the fast-fashion company run by Irish chief executive John Lyttle, saw its revenue drop 11 per cent in the last four months of 2022, compared to the same period last year.

In an announcement to the markets on Thursday the company said its total revenue in the period fell from £714.5 million to £637.7 million, with the revenues in its biggest market, the Uk, falling from £451 million to £400.8 million.
