One in seven RTÉ workers avail of career break incentive scheme

One in seven RTÉ employees has taken up the latest round of incentivised career breaks, introduced as part of the broadcaster’s cost-cutting plans.

All employees, with a minimum of two years’ completed continuous service on September 1, 2016, are eligible to apply for an incentivised career break. Some 250 staff have availed of the career break scheme in 2016 and to date in 2017.
