OECD raises Irish growth forecast but cuts global growth outlook

The Paris-based think tank trimmed its global economic forecasts for the second time in three months

The OECD has upgraded its growth forecasts for the Irish economy while trimming its forecasts for both the euro zone and global economic growth.

The Paris-based Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has revised its Irish GDP growth forecast for 2015 up to 5.6 per cent from five per cent in September. It expects GDP to expand by 4.1 per cent next year, having previously forecast growth of four per cent.
