The Olympic Council of Ireland will consider selling its opulent headquarters in Howth, Co Dublin, as the cost of its Rio Olympics debacle continues to mount, its new president, Sarah Keane, has told The Sunday Business Post.

Olympic House, a valuable 1850s listed building at the heart of the picturesque seaside village, was bought and refurbished by the organisation in 2004 under the watch of Keane’s predecessor Pat Hickey.
