Billionaire telecoms tycoon Denis O’Brien has defended his legal action against the Dáil’s committee on privilege and procedures, saying it had failed to properly investigate his complaint about abuse of parliamentary privilege.
In a statement released last night, O’Brien said he had no other choice but to seek legal recourse.
