NTR reports H1profit of €72.6 million as it spins off wind energy business

NTR has reported a first-half profit of €72.6 million, an increase of €67.2 million on the same period last year, ahead of the de-merger of its European wind business, which is due to take place today.

The renewable energy company said the profit was principally due to a gain on the sale of its Wind Capital Group, foreign exchanges gains and six weeks of trading by its US wind business.
