Minister to maintain 'tight control of expenditure'
The Minister for Finance Michael Noonan this morning welcomed the EU Commission’s compliance assessment for Budget 2016.
He pointed out that the improvement in the structural balance (estimated by the Commission to be 0.9 per cent) is greater than the 0.6 per cent required under the rules.
