No need for third terminal at Dublin Airport, head of DAA says

Expanding and enhancing Terminals 1 and 2 to accommodate rising passenger numbers is preferred option

There is no need for a third terminal at Dublin Airport, according to Kenny Jacobs, head of the DAA.

Last year the airport welcomed more than 28 million passengers, in what was an 85 per cent recovery on 2019 figures.

Under current planning permission rules, the joint capacity for both airport terminals is not allowed to exceed 32 million passengers a year.
