New twist in Johnny Ronan development site battle

There has been a bitter and complex row between Balark Investments - part of the Marlet Property Group, which is led by developer Pat Crean - and Johnny Ronan’s Chambury Investment Company

An estate agent has told the High Court that the freehold value of a disputed site in the heart of the Dublin docklands was likely to be around €18 million on the open market.

Shane O’Beirne from Lisney’s valuation department was giving evidence in a bitter and complex row between Balark Investments - part of the Marlet Property Group, which is led by developer Pat Crean - and Johnny Ronan’s Chambury Investment Company.
