New study: pharma deal savings overstated by government

Economist Paul Gorecki has found that the state’s deal with major medicine suppliers will generate just €290m in real savings

The government has overstated the real savings that its medicines deal with pharmaceutical companies will yield by €310 million, according to a Trinity College and ESRI economist.
