New report warns of a 7,214 nursing home bed shortfall by 2026

Counties across Ireland face significant nursing home bed shortages of 7,214 by 2026, according to a new review carried out by Bank of Ireland.

Dublin and Cork could have bed shortfalls of 1,269 beds and 763 respectively. Large deficits were also projected for Donegal, Kerry and other counties.
