A new industry of precision human medicine is likely to emerge by the start of the next decade, the chief executive of Merck’s life science division has said.

In an exclusive interview with the Business Post last week, Matthias Heinzel said the next 10 years will usher in some major discoveries in “precision” human health solutions that are effectively tailored to each patient.
