Virgin Media Television has warned that the decision of streaming platforms such as Netflix and Disney to start showing ads, as well as the rise of Smart TVs, is likely to pinch its revenues in the future.
The commercial broadcaster will appear in front of the Oireachtas media committee tomorrow for a discussion on the future of Ireland’s television and film industry.
