Former communications minister comes out fighting
Former communications minister Denis Naughten has criticised the Taoiseach over his handling of the national broadband fiasco and claimed former cabinet colleagues want him back in government.
Naughten hit back strongly at his critics this weekend, in the wake of an auditor’s report that cleared him of wrongdoing in his decision to attend numerous meetings and dinners with David McCourt, the businessman heading up the last remaining bid for the national broadband plan.
