Nama records €1.8bn profit for 2015, says housing plans proceeding apace

Agency says it approved €24.5m in rent reductions for struggling businesses

NAMA recorded a €1.8 billion profit for 2015, four times the size of last year’s €458 million, and says it is on its way to a projected lifetime surplus of €2.3 billion, it said.

According to the agency’s annual report and financial statements for 2015, it generated €9.1 billion in cash during 2015, €8.5 billion of which came from the disposal of assets.
