More than €100 billion has been routed through firms in the IFSC, which include a company linked to a corporate tussle involving oligarch Roman Abramovich

There are dozens, if not hundreds, of Russian-linked shell companies in the IFSC. As this newspaper reported earlier this year, researchers from Trinity College Dublin have found that well over €100 billion has been routed through these companies, often to parent entities that are tarnished with sanctions, or whose senior managers have extensive links to the Kremlin.
