Musicians warn accommodation shortages impacting demand for concerts
Escalating costs and limited accommodation options are creating barriers for music enthusiasts, according to MEAI
The Music and Entertainment Association of Ireland (MEAI) has warned that a shortage of hotel accommodation is leading to a decline in attendance at concerts and events across the country.
MEAI said the situation has been worsened by the use of hotels and guesthouses to accommodate asylum seekers and refugees.
