The receiver appointed over Sean Quinn jnr’s personal assets is blocking the son of the former billionaire’s bid to keep €58,000 from a recent unfair dismissal award.
The Quinn children’s assets are frozen and the businessman’s lawyers told the Commercial Court last Wednesday he needs the money transferred to a nearly depleted Ulster Bank account which covers his monthly mortgage payment of €1,500 and his day-to-day living expenses.
