Mosque leaders condoning ‘criminal’ act, says obstetricians’ institute

The Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists has accused one of the biggest mosques in the country of condoning a “criminal” act.

The Institute called on doctors who used Clonskeagh mosque in Dublin to “speak out” and distance themselves from a statement that the mosque issued on Friday about female circumcision, which is a form of female genital mutilation (FGM).
