Mortgage advisors expected Irish property prices to continue to moderate, after new figures showed a slowdown in inflation last month.

New Central Statistics Office (CSO) figures show prices rose by 12.2 per cent in the 12 months to the end of July.

In September annual inflation in Dublin was 9.7 per cent, while outside the capital it was 14.2 per cent.
