More phone masts to be built along motorways to combat blackspots

The government is planning to tackle mobile phone blackspots by building more masts on the sides of motorways.

Despite the rollout of improved technology, there are still regular complaints from mobile phone customers about dropped calls and poor coverage, particularly in rural areas.
