Microsoft expands Dublin data centre in $2 billion European investment
New facility is planned to be the equivalent of three football fields
American computing giant Microsoft has announced a $2 billion data centre expansion across Europe, which will bring its investment in its Irish data centre to around a billion euro.
The expansion is part of a wider investment in data centres in Ireland, Britain and the Netherlands, the company announced today.
