A High Court dispute has broken out among shareholders at the Mercantile Group, the pub and restaurant group that controls 12 outlets across Dublin.

EMI-MR Investment, a US-based investor group that bought into the group last year, has initiated a legal action against Frank Gleeson, a smaller shareholder and the group’s chief executive.
