Paddy McKillen sr’s action against the liquidators of the former Anglo Irish Bank gives new insight into the developer and the price he has paid for trying to help the bank in good faith during the crisis
The Anglo Irish Bank criminal trials are now over. They have resulted in three bankers being convicted in relation to the Maple Ten loans, a scheme which saw Anglo lend money to ten developers so that they could buy shares in the bank in an ultimately futile effort to save the failing lender.
