The main Irish arm of McDonald’s, the fast-food giant, has paid out €45 million in dividends to its parent company since the start of 2021, with its pre-tax profits more than doubling after the pandemic.
New accounts filed by McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland show its revenues rose by more than €19 million in 2021 compared with the previous year, reaching €67.1 million after totalling €48.2 million during a Covid-struck 2020.
