Mater in €11m deal to reduce carbon footprint

The Mater Hospital has signed an €11 million deal with a company backed by the government which will reduce its carbon footprint by over 5,000 tonnes.

The project will see the installation of a new energy system by the Carbon Energy Fund Ireland, a joint venture between a British firm and the state-backed Ireland Energy Efficiency Fund.
