Aryzta, the Irish-Swiss food company, is under pressure to slim down its cost base by the time of its next set of financial results in March.

The company, which owns the Cuisine de France brand, said it plans to generate €1 billion in cash over the next four years through improving its earnings and the sale of some of its businesses.
