Magan condemns ‘extortionate’ fees levied by trustees of Castletown Cox

Retired banker and aristocrat George Magan has lashed out at what he claims are the “extortionate fees and expenses” charged by the trustees of Castletown Cox, one of Ireland’s finest surviving period houses.

He also claims agents of the trust “forcibly and unlawfully” entered the property and spent several days removing its “world class” art collection to an unknown location, possibly outside the jurisdiction.
