Senior FG figures put Bailey under pressure to withdraw lawsuit
Fine Gael cabinet minister Josepha Madigan has refused to say whether she had any role in the lawsuit that was being taken by her party colleague Maria Bailey over a fall from a swing in a Dublin hotel four years ago.
Bailey was reported to have dropped the case yesterday evening, after coming under huge pressure to do so from Fine Gael colleagues.
