Liquidator appointed to Crean’s lager brewer

The Dingle Brewing Company had been doing well until it ran into difficulties expanding into the United States.

A recent creditors meeting heard that the business owed €1.6 million primarily to the Revenue Commissioners and trade creditors

KPMG has been appointed as voluntary liquidator to the company that makes the well known Crean’s Lager named after the iconic Kerry polar explorer Tom Crean.

The Dingle Brewing Company started production in July of 2011 and from initially serving only local Kerry pubs, expanded across Ireland and into the United States.
