Supermarket chain plans to create 700 new jobs as well as investing €14m in salary increases for its staff in Ireland
Lidl workers are in line for pay rises of up to €2,500 annually as part of a €14 million investment in staff salaries to combat the cost of living crisis.
The German supermarket chain today said the increases amounted to an average 7.5 per cent pay rise for staff, representing a further investment in its Irish operations.
