Lawyers for Kai Dai, one of Ireland’s biggest cash-for-visa brokers, told a High Court judge earlier this month that they have not been able to reach him to get instructions since July.
Dai is the founder of the Huawen Foundation, which has raised around €50 million in investments through Ireland’s immigrant investor programme (IIP) since 2014. He is being sued by one his investors, Xi Zhiming, a designer from Beijing.
