Ken Murphy, the head of the Law Society, has accused what he described as the “insurance industry propaganda machine” of running expensive ad campaigns with the subliminal message that “most personal injury claims are a bit dodgy”.

In the latest edition of the podcast Legal Matters, which will be available from Tuesday, Murphy points the finger directly at insurers for recent premium hikes.
