Klir, an Irish water software start-up, has raised almost €1 million to fund its expansion into North America. Colin Kelleher, an Irish angel investor based in Canada, led the syndicate of investors backing the firm.

Following the investment Klir has opened two new offices in Las Vegas and Ontario, adding to its Dublin office. Klir was co-founded by former Accenture consultants David Lynch, its chief executive, and Elaine Kelly, its chief operations officer.
