Intake of students wanting to qualify has dropped from 140 students

New admissions to the King’s Inns’ flagship bachelor-of-law course in Dublin plummeted by nearly a third in 2015.

The intake of students seeking to qualify as a barrister dropped from 140 students last year to 96 for the current academic year.

The society would not disclose how many applicants sat the 2015 entrance exam for the BL course, which is the only one of its kind in Ireland.
