A key letter was missing from the legal file given to an expert witness called by Gerald Kean solicitors in defence of a High Court action brought by the Educational Building Society (EBS).
Solicitor Patrick Dorgan, former chair of the Law Society’s conveyancing committee, agreed during cross-examination last week that he only became aware of the error after he had finalised his professional report for the case.
